To friends & supporters

Re: `Professionals of Tomorrow' Conference 2007, 12 –
16 October '07 at Peacehaven

FES Malaysia is pleased to bring you, for the very first time, the
`Professionals of Tomorrow' Conference, also known as
"PoT's".

The Vision of the conference:

To grow Professionals of Tomorrow from Students of Today, who

· have a sense of calling and mission in their professions

· understand and obey God's heart and mind for their
lives and for the world they are called to serve

· are increasingly aware and responding to the needs of our
nation

· dare to be courageous to answer God's call - wherever,
whatever.

The Theme: iPoT's

The "i" stands for

(i) identity & person of the professional

- identity in Christ, being & character

(ii) in-Training - being moulded & shaped for His purpose.
Inculcating an open & teachable spirit

(iii) impact - making a difference wherever we are placed / sent

3 professional tracks coming as ONE conference

For "PoT's" 2007, we are bringing together `Teachers of
Tomorrow' (known as "ToT's"), `Health Carers of
Tomorrow' (known as "HOT"), and `Law Graduates of
Tomorrow' (known as "LoT's").

We see the great need for Christian graduates in all fields to seriously
consider God's calling and purpose as they make decisions about
their future, in view of the vast needs in our country and the world. We
also need to ask what it means to make choices for counter-cultural
living in our present times.

The Program will include:

· Theme Talks, which will be bible expositions from Nehemiah, delivered by Bishop Hwa Yung

· 3 Evening Plenary, conducted specifically in 3
different professional tracks but with similar focus. It will cover
"Lift Up Your Eyes" (Vision & Calling, Needs & Challenges),
"Doing the Right Thing" (Ethics in our professions), and
"Keeping the Vision" (Staying the Course amidst Challenges).

· Workshops and Forum covering specific issues and
needs for the 3 different professional tracks

For 2007, we are specifically exploring the needs related to these 3
professions and challenging current students in these 3 fields to be
truly God's professionals of tomorrow. In all, we hope to see 180
- 200 students coming for "PoT's" 2007.

Costing for PoT's

The budget for PoT's is about RM50,000. In order to keep the
fees at an affordable price for students (RM120 for early
registrations; RM150 for registrations after 31 Aug), we are facing a
deficit of almost RM30,000.

We invite you to prayerfully consider being a part of
"PoT's" 2007 by giving and praying that
"PoT's" 2007 will be used by the Lord to work in the lives
of these young people.

Gifts for PoT's can be channeled through various ways:

1. Send a cheque to Fellowship of Evangelical Students (please
indicate it's for

PoT's 2007 at the back of your cheque).

2. Bank in your contribution to FES account at Maybank (Account
No: 5625

3518 0523) or HSBC (Account No: 302-031398-001). The
account name is

"Fellowship of Evangelical Students". Kindly fax
us your bank-in slip or send a

sms to the PoT's Coordinator (Dr. K.C. Loh @
012-2030497) to notify us of your

contribution.

3. Cash contributions can be given directly to the office or
through a staff you know.

Thank you for your kind consideration and God bless you all in your
ministry.

Yours truly,

Miss Annette Arulrajah

General Secretary

FES Malaysia
